Tres Hombres Margarita Recipe by Pura Vida Tequila
I know that everyone is getting the bad case of the Winter Blues with all of this snow and freezing weather, and we just can’t wait until Spring for it to start warming up. Guess what, we’re all in the same boat. To help ease the cold weather blues, the makers of Pura Vida Tequila has the super yummy concoction for their unique version & spin on the
Margarita: Tres Hombres. It uses all 3 of their Tequilas in it! Once I saw the recipe, I said I was SO Game for this!
I went straight to my kitchen and started making the recipe with such glee and excitement. I already knew what treat my palate was in for, mostly because of the other 2 recipes that I’ve used with Pura Vida Tequila. Go ahead and take a look at the other two that I’ve made, tried and enjoyed (The Pancho Villa and the Skinny Margarita).
In case you haven’t learned this lesson yet, Pura Vida Tequila is simply amazing. I can honestly say that it blows any other tequila that I have had before…OUT of the water! Maybe it’s because the makers playing Classical music to the 100% Blue Agave plants? Maybe it’s the Triple Distillation process that I’ve mentioned before? Maybe it’s the Five time filtered water? I don’t know, but the love that they show their products resonates in the quality and flavor profile. I’m almost embarrassed to say that my 3 bottles of Pura Vida Tequila are almost half empty, and that makes me a super “Sad Panda.”

Ingredients
- 1/2 oz Pura Vida Silver Tequila
- 1/2 oz Pura Vida Reposado Tequila
- 1/2 oz Pura Vida Añejo Tequila
- 1/2 oz Pura Vida Naranja Orange Liqueur
- 1/2 oz Fresh Orange Juice
- 1 oz Fresh Lime Juice
- Pura Vida Organic Agave Nectar
