Skinny Margarita Recipe & Review
Welcome back to Part Two of my personal, yet highly opinionated, product review for Pura Vida Tequila! As I reminder, I have to let you know that I was given free products and am being paid to review Pura Vida Tequila product line and their mixers. You gotta love my life, right? In case you haven’t had a chance to read my first review of them, then you can read my Pura Vida Tequila & Bloody Maria Review And Recipe.
So far, I really have been enjoying their line of tequila. Their tequila is so much more smoother than other tequilas that I’ve had. Trust me, I have had a lot of tequila in my life. Don’t judge me just yet, I’ve just worked in the Fine Dining Restaurant Industry my whole life. So, I have an extant knowledge of Wine & Spirits…much more so than most people. Pura Vida Tequila DEFINITELY has some bragging rights! Look at all of these amazing Awards and Mentions that they have:

And their list of awards as best tequila of 2013, most notably their Ańejo, goes on and on! In fact, they have one of the most amazing financial backers: Billy Gibson of ZZ Top.
And if there couldn’t be more fun added into the mix, you should really read about what Sully Erna of GodSmack means by, “Happy 8:15!”
Time to put the flavor to the test. Today I made their Skinny Margarita Recipe and I was kind of delicious. I’m not gonna lie. The recipe calls for Agave Nectar. Who am I to say no in using Agave Nectar in conjunction with 100% Agave Tequila? Not this guy! The best part is that it doesn’t use Sour Mix. Which is Great for me as I suffer from Food Color Allergies. So this recipe is pretty perfect for me. Enjoy the recipe and tell me what you think! Here’s also a photo of their end product and what it’s supposed to look like. I didn’t have one of their gorgeous martini glasses, so I used a High Ball.
**As always, please drink responsibly. If you feel unsafe to drive, please call someone to pick you or take a cab. Enjoy adult cocktails, but please don’t drive while intoxicated.
