Half Baked Brownie Recipe
Half Baked Brownie Recipe
Before I get into the details of my Half Baked Brownie Recipe, you should know one thing: I was not high or stoned when I was envisioning this! This was not a “munchies” recipe. This is a recipe based off of ice from Ben & Jerry’s, and I was like…what if I could make this into a real dessert? Boom! I went to the kitchen to start making it!
For this recipe, I used two of my own recipes and combined them together. The only thing that’s going to be different is the process of baking the brownie. Before we get started, I wanted to share my findings and notes with you.
It will probably be best to use either a silicone cupcake/muffin tray or utilize cupcake baking cups. The reason being is that because of the different sugar properties and baking times, the cookie portion tends to get stuck to the bottom. It was a bugger in getting out of my cupcake/muffin tray. You will also want the brownies to be completely cooled down before cutting or taking out of the trays.
Here are my two recipes that you will need:

Here are the directions:
1. Make each recipe separately as noted. Pre-heat oven to 325.
2. Scoop 1 tbsp of cookie dough into bottom of muffin try or cupcake tins. You just want to make sure the bottom is covered. Bake in oven for approximately 3 minutes. We are par-baking the cookie dough. When the 3 minutes are up, allow tray to cool. It doesn’t have to be cold, you just don’t want it to be hot. So somewhat warm is okay.
3. Scoop 1 1/2 tbsps of brownie mixture on top of the cookie dough. Bake for approximately 16 minutes. The brownie mixture will rise above the form, so don’t be alarm. Also, don’t put the muffin/cupcake tray in bottom of oven. Place on the top rack. You don’t want the bottom cookie portion to be burnt.
4. Allow brownies to be completely cooled before taking out of molds. Enjoy!
I hope you enjoy these as much as I did! Take a look at my other amazing Recipes to make and enjoy!
