Blueberry, Apple & Craisin Bread Recipe
I love being able to share recipes and swap them with my friends! This is a great twist on a banana bread recipe that saw from one of my amazing friends, Michelle! I love you Michelle! Muah! This recipe turns out moist and delicious, and you're gonna want to have seconds and thirds lol! And yes, there's a modified version to turn it into Banana Bread! Here's the recipe, and enjoy!
1/2 cup of butter
1 cup sugar
2 eggs
2 cup flour
1 tsp baking soda (if using non self rising flour)
1 tsp vanilla
1 tsp apple pie spice
About 2 apples and a handful of blueberry and craisins that I soaked in orange juice
Mix the butter, eggs, vanilla, sugar together. In a separate bowl mix flour, spices, baking soda. Add the dry ingredients to the egg mixture a little at a time and mix. Then fold in the fruit. Put into a greased loaf pan. Sprinkle a tsp of sugar on top ( makes a crunchy topping). Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
Banana Bread Recipe
For my mom's banana bread she leaves out the spices and vanilla. She adds 3-4 bananas and nuts ( you could do that with this bread, but I'm allergic ) and doesn't sprinkle the top with sugar either. Love you David!
