- 3 large apples peeled and cut into 1 inch chunks that are ยฝ inch thick
- 3 tablespoons light or dark brown sugar
- ยผ teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/8 teaspoon nutmeg
Crumble Topping
- 2/3 cup pack light or dark brown sugar
- ยฝ cup all-purpose flour
- ยฝ cup old fashioned oats
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 6 tablespoons butter melted
Optional
- Caramel sauce
- Ice cream
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350ยฐ F. Place 6 6 oz. ramekins on a baking sheet.ย
- Brush the ramekins with 1 tablespoon of melted butter.ย
- In a large bowl, mix the apples, brown sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Divideย the apple mixture between the ramekins.ย ย
- In a medium size bowl, mix the brown sugar, flour, oats,ย cinnamon, and 6 tablespoons of melted butter with a fork or mixing spoon.ย
- Into each ramekin, pour the topping mixture over the apple mixture.ย
- Bakeย for approximately 35 minutes or until the top is lightly browned and theย apples are soft.ย
