I’ve been running this blog for over 13 years, but my love of food goes way back. Growing up in a big, close-knit family, the kitchen was always the heart of our home — and the food? Always made with love (and butter… lots of butter).
These days, I share recipes that feel like home. Whether it’s a no-fuss weeknight dinner or a dessert that knocks your socks off, I’m here to help you cook with confidence.
What I Do
- I create, test, and photograph every recipe on this site
- I focus on comfort food, slow cooker recipes, Instant Pot meals, and holiday favorites
- I make sure every recipe is doable for home cooks, whether you're a beginner or just tired of over-complicated instructions
- I dabble in DIY projects that are easy to do, use, make, and be helpful!
Why I Do It
Besides being obsessed with food, I’m a full-time caregiver for my sister with special needs, have an amazing partner in crime for life (My Stpehen), and Fur Dad to two amazing little “babies”, Delilah and Ubi. Cooking and sharing recipes is more than a passion; it’s part of how I stay grounded and connected to joy every day.
And trust me, nothing beats the feeling of someone saying, “That was amazing, and I didn’t even mess it up!”
