Pumpkin Dump Cake

Pumpkin Dump Cake is a delicious layered dessert, loaded with pumpkin flavor, chopped pecans, and a buttery cake mix topping!

Ingredients
  

  • 1 29 ounce can of pumpkin puree
  • 1 12 ounce can of evaporated milk
  • 1 ½ teaspoons pumpkin pie spice
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 15.25 ounce box of yellow cake mix
  • ¾ cup chopped pecans
  • 1 cup butter
  • Cool Whip for serving

Instructions
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F.
  2. Spray a 9x13 inch pan with non-stick spray.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine pumpkin puree, milk, sugar, eggs, and pumpkin pie spice. Pour into prepared pan.
  4. Sprinkle chopped pecans over the pumpkin mixture, then sprinkle the box of yellow cake mix over top.
  5. Melt the 1 cup of butter, and drizzle evenly over the cake mix.
  6. Bake for 55-60 minutes, and allow the cake to cool slightly. Serve warm with a dollop of cool whip or vanilla ice cream!
