Ingredients

  • 2 cups Salted Caramel Flavored Chocolate Candy Melts
  • 2 Hot Chocolate Mix
  • ¼ cup Cocoa Powder
  • 2 cups Mini Marshmallows

Instructions

  • Place 2 cups of water inside your Instant Pot and set a 3qt metal or glass bowl on top.
  • Press the Sauté function on your Instant Pot.  Make that your setting is on MORE.
  • Add your candy melts to the mixing bowl.
  • Whisk until chocolate has melted completely about 5 minutes.
  • Place 2 tbsp melted candy melt into one half of a bomb mold and, using the bottom of your tablespoon measuring spoon, press the chocolate up the sides of the mold, keeping it thick but even. Repeat with 12 bomb mold halves.
  • Place the chocolate filled bomb molds into the freezer for 5 minutes.
  • Remove molds from the freezer and gently tap the sides of the mold, pressing on one side of the chocolate to make the chocolate slid out of the mold.
  • Fill 6 of the molds with 2 tbsp hot chocolate mix and 6-8 mini marshmallows.
  • Place remaining melted candy melts into a piping bag with a tiny tip and pipe a thin line of candy melts on the rim of one of the filled molds.
  • Immediately press an empty cup to the top of the one with the rim covered in melted candy melts. This will join the two halves of the hot cocoa bomb.
  • Drizzle the remaining candy melts over the assembled hot cocoa bombs then immediately follow by dusting with the cocoa powder.
  • Place the hot cocoa bombs into the freezer for 5 minutes to get them to set, then remove and store in an airtight container until you’re ready to use.
  • To use the hot cocoa bombs, place them in a mug and pour 1 1/2 - 2 cups hot milk over the top. Stir until the hot cocoa bombs are completely melted and enjoy!

Notes

PLEASE NOTE: IF you don't have a small piping bag for chocolate, no worries! Simple take a small ceramic plate and heat in the microwave or run under warm water. Take 1/2 the mold and gently press on the warm plate until you see it starting to melt. Then immediately attach to other side of the hot cocoa bomb to seal.
