Ingredients

  • Ingredients
  • 4 large eggs 3 egg yolks + 1 egg
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon plus a pinch salt
  • 2 cups whole milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 medium sized bananas

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, whisk together 1/2 cup sugar, the flour and 1/2 teaspoon salt. Stir in the whole egg and 3 yolks, and then stir in the milk. Cook uncovered, stirring often, until the mixture thickens, about 10 minutes. Remove from the heat and stir in the vanilla.
  2. Allow to cool at room temperature before placing in the refrigerator to chill.
  3. Once chilled, start slicing your bananas into coin rounds. Find your favorite container to use! I used a fun wine glass, which are great for parties or for fancying up your dessert presentation!
  4. Into the container, add a layer of sliced bananas, then top with a layer of pudding. You then alternate with your own love bananas! I had 3 layers and topped off with bananas and whipped cream.
