Ingredients
CINNAMON DONUTS
- 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/3 cups granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon 1/3 cup buttermilk
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon butter melted
CRUMBLE TOPPING
- 3 tablespoons all-purpose flour 1 1/2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 1/2 teaspoons ground cinnamon 1 tablespoon butter softened
CINNAMON ICING
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 2 tablespoons milk
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
VANILLA ICING
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 2 teaspoons milk
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- 1. Heat your oven to 350°F.
2. In a small bowl, whisk together the buttermilk, egg, and melted butter
3. In a large bowl mix the all-purpose flour, cornstarch, baking powder,
cinnamon, sugar, and salt.
4. Pour the wet mixture over the dry mixture and mix until smooth.
5. Spray your donut trays with non-stick spray. Using a pastry bag or cut out
ziplock bag, pipe the batter into the tray filling the donuts until about 2/3
full.
6. Bake in the oven for 7-9 minutes or until donuts are dry. Allow the donuts
to rest approximately 2 minutes before transferring to a wire cooling rack.
CINNAMON CRUMBLE TOPPING
1. In a large bowl, mix the all-purpose flour, brown sugar, and cinnamon.
2. Add in the melted butter and mix until clumpy. Set aside
CINNAMON ICING
1. In a medium bowl, mix the powdered sugar, milk, and cinnamon. Set aside.
VANILLA ICING
1. In a small bowl, mix together the powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla.
ASSEMBLE THE DONUT
Allow the donuts to cool for approximately 15 minutes, then dip the donuts in the cinnamon frosting and dip directly into the crumble topping. With a spoon drizzle the vanilla icing on top of the donuts. Allow donuts to dry before eating.

Notes
If you do not have buttermilk, 1 teaspoon of vinegar can be added to the milk as a substitute.
