Prosciutto Wrapped Asparagus

This Prosciutto wrapped asparagus is a perfect side, an amazing appetizer, and a super nice snack any time of the day.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 Bundle of Medium sized fresh asaparagus
  • 1 package of thin sliced proscuitto
  • Cracked pepper to taste

Instructions
 

  1. Pre-heat oven to 400. Start a pot of boiling water.
  2. Line baking sheet with foil.
  3. Cut approximately 1 inch off the base of the asparagus spears. Drop the asparagus into the boiling water for 2 minutes. While asparagus is blanching, fill a large bowl with ice water.
  4. Once asparagus is done blanching, place in ice bath for approximately 3-4 minutes. Remove asparagus and pat dry.
  5. Wrap a piece of prosciutto around each spear. I found that one slice of prosciutto works for 2 asaparagus spears.
  6. Place in oven for approximately 7-8 minutes.
