Ingredients
- 1 Bundle of Medium sized fresh asaparagus
- 1 package of thin sliced proscuitto
- Cracked pepper to taste
Instructions
- Pre-heat oven to 400. Start a pot of boiling water.
- Line baking sheet with foil.
- Cut approximately 1 inch off the base of the asparagus spears. Drop the asparagus into the boiling water for 2 minutes. While asparagus is blanching, fill a large bowl with ice water.
- Once asparagus is done blanching, place in ice bath for approximately 3-4 minutes. Remove asparagus and pat dry.
- Wrap a piece of prosciutto around each spear. I found that one slice of prosciutto works for 2 asaparagus spears.
- Place in oven for approximately 7-8 minutes.
