Equipment

Materials

  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup coconut oil
  • 14-15 drops sweet orange essential oil
  • 4-5 drops Vitamin E oil
  • Optional - 1/2 teaspoon coconut extract
  • Optional - 1-2 drops orange coloring gel

Instructions

  • 1. Place the sugar and coconut oil in a medium bowl and stir to blend well.

  • 2.  Add the orange essential oil and Vitamin E oil and mix well.  The essential oil has a light orange coloring to it. If you would like a darker orange sugar scrub, add 1 to 2 drops of orange coloring and stir well.

    3.  Optional - if you desire a stronger coconut aroma, stir in a 1/2 teaspoon of coconut extract.

    2.  Transfer to an airtight container and store up to 3 months.
