Serving Size 4
Ingredients
2pears
1roll of pie dough
ground cinnamon
1tsplight brown sugar
Caramel sauce
Instructions
Preheat air fryer to 350. Once temperature has been reached, reduce heat to 325.
Cut pears in half lengthwise leaving stems attached.
Roll out the pie dough and cut into 4 sections.
With the flat side of the pear faced down, sprinkled cinnamon a little brown sugar on the rounded side.
Cover the pear in the pie dough and then trim the dough so that it is only covering the bottom of the pear.
Place pears face down on a parchment lined tray in your air fryer.
Bake in air fryer for 10-12 minutes, or until just golden brown.
Remove from air fryer and allow to cool for 8-10 minutes. Gently flip over tart, pear side up, and garnish with caramel sauce.
Notes
1. Each air fryer is different, some have baskets and some have sliding trays. If your air fryer has a basket, then line the basket with parchment paper and place pears on the paper, cut side down. 2. If you wish, you can add a little cinnamon and nutmeg to the outer skin of the pear before covering with crust.
