Ingredients
- 3 lbs chicken breasts
- 1 packet Au Jus gravy mix
- 1 packet ranch dressing mix
- ½ c. unsalted butter
- 6 - 8 whole pepperoncini peppers
- Fresh baked slider buns
Instructions
- Trim fat from chicken breasts and place in slow cooker
- Add the remaining ingredients and cover.
- Cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hrs. Do not add liquid, the chicken will create its own juices as it cooks. If you want more twang, you can add 1/2 cup of pepperoncini liquid from the jar to it.
- Place the cooked chicken in a large bowl to shred, return to slow cooker, or you can shred it while in the slow cooker.
- Serve alone or as sliders/sandwiches, also delicious served over cooked white rice.
