Instant Pot Salted Caramel

Ingredients
  

  • 1/3 cup water
  • 1 + 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup double heavy cream
  • 6 tsp unsalted butter
  • Pinch sea salt

Instructions
 

  1. Add sugar and water into your Instant Pot.
  2. Use saute mode on ‘high’ for 10-15 minutes and cook until the syrup reaches 150C (302F). When the caramel is formed turn off the Instant Pot.
  3. Add heavy cream to the caramel and whisk until combined.
  4. Add butter and salt, keep whisking.
  5. Pour into a jar. Allow to cool to room temperature.
