Cast Iron Skillet Pear Tart Recipe

Ingredients
  

  • 2 Medium sized pears peeled and sliced thin
  • 2 Tablespoons of Salted Butter I like the balance of the salted butter
  • 1/4 Cup of Sugar
  • 1/4 Teaspoon Cinnamon
  • Pinch of Nutmeg
  • 1 package of Immaculate Baking Pre-made Pie Crust
  • Min Cast Iron Skillet

Instructions
 

  1. Pre-heat oven to 400.
  2. In a medium sized pan over a medium heat, melt butter.
  3. Then add in sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Once everything is mixed well together, add in sliced pears.
  4. Cook over medium heat for approximately 12-15 minutes.
  5. Form the pie crust into the skillet. Pour in the pears.
  6. Cut a few strips of the crust and place on top.
  7. Bake for approximately 15 minutes, or until crust is golden brown.
  8. Remove from oven and allow to cool.
