💭 COOKING TIPS
Always allow ingredients, such as cream cheese and eggs, to reach room temperature before combining to make the cheesecake filling. This helps create a smooth consistency to avoid any lumps or pockets of air in the cheesecake, which would cause the cheesecake to crack.
If you want to ensure an ultra-smooth cheesecake filling, use a food processor to blend the ingredients instead of a regular hand mixer.
Lastly, you can avoid cracking on the top of your baked cheesecake by not overmixing the cheesecake filling and not overbaking the cheesecake.

🙋 FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
I haven’t baked this Twix cheesecake in a water bath, but you can as it creates a velvety smooth texture with the right amount of density without overcooking it.
Apart from following the suggested recipe cooking time, you can tell that your Twix cheesecake is done baking when it has some jiggle to it. It shouldn’t be rock-stiff!
Cracks in cheesecake can happen for various reasons. Air bubbles trapped in the cheesecake filling will rise and burst through the top of the cheesecake, exposing the cheesecake to big changes in temperatures i.e. moving the cheesecake from a warm oven to a cold countertop or not releasing the cheesecake from the sides of the springform with a knife.
🧊 STORING AND ♨️ REHEATING
All cheesecake must be stored in airtight containers in the fridge to prevent the dairy-based ingredients from spoiling and to help prevent the cheesecake from absorbing other food odors. You won’t need to reheat cheesecake!
FRIDGE
Leftover Twix cheesecake should be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for 3-4 days. Don’t store this cheesecake at room temperature due to the dairy-based ingredients that could spoil.
FREEZER
Twix cheesecake can be stored as an entire cake or as individual slices in an airtight container in the freezer for 1-2 months.
Thaw the frozen Twix cheesecake overnight in the fridge, and serve!

👪 SERVING SIZE
This Twix cheesecake provides 8 generous servings. Since cheesecake are already somewhat tricky, I don’t recommend halving or doubling this recipe, unless you plan to make two cheescakes with two 9-inch springform pans.
