Recipe Ingredients for Instant Pot Hibachi Steak Bites
Here’s what you need to make the instant pot hibachi steak bites:
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil: I used olive oil to sear the beef steak. You can use any other available vegetable oil.
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil: I added sesame oil to saute the onions, ginger, garlic, and other ingredients. You can, however, use the same olive oil you used to sear the beef.
- 1 pound flank steak: We need lean meat cut into bite-sized pieces for this recipe; therefore, you can use flank steak, chuck, or rump roast also.
- 1 teaspoon cracked black pepper: A little bit of seasoning to enhance the flavor of the dish.
- 1/2 cup beef broth: Use low-sodium beef broth, as other ingredients will also add saltiness to the dish.
- 1/4 cup soy sauce: For that authentic umami flavor. You can use amino acids, too, as an alternative.
- 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar: To break down the surface of the food and let the flavor seep in.
- 1 tablespoon fresh ginger and garlic: Use grated ginger and minced garlic for the best outcome.
- Vegetables: Add a cup of mushrooms, zucchini, and onions cut into chunks for added nutrition and taste.
