Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup milk
- 1/2 cup Bisquick
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- sea salt and cracked pepper to taste
I want to try this but do not know what an instant pot is, lol. Can I bake it in the oven?
You can totally cook it in the oven! Follow the same directions, and preheat the oven to 350. Bake for about 25 minutes, or until the top is a beautiful golden color 😀
I eat low carb and have found that CarbQuick is an almost exact replacement for Bisquick.
OH! That’s amazing to know! I will have to check it out.

What is a PIP method???
PIP = Pot In Pot 🙂 Where you cook in a pot inside of your instant pot or other types of pressure cooker.
I have an 8 quart instant pot. Can I double this? How much does the original recipe serve?
Original recipe serves 4. If you You should be able to double it with no issues, but you would have to keep it at least an extra 5 minutes for the batter and cheese. Hope this helps!
Did you used ramekins beneath the pyrex dish to raise the bowl higher away, from the heating element? If so, would a tall trivet work a well?
I honestly had lost my trivet and had to buy a new one. I used ramekins in real life at the moment, but you can definitely use a trivet with no problem!
