I participated in an Influencer Activation on behalf of Influence Central for Rubbermaid. I received product samples to facilitate my review as well as a promotional item to thank me for my participation.
It’s that time of the year when everybody is busy cooking their little hearts away in the kitchens all across America. If you’re like me and you happen to have a big family, storage and serving of the food are the biggest issues. Well, that and maybe I DO need a bigger kitchen, but I digress. This year, we had a total of 16 people join us for our Thanksgiving meal! Yes…I said 16 people. So, I was so happy to have been accepted into the review program for Rubbermaid because I desperately needed their help. They sent my a party platter and a party serving kit…and they both helped save my little kitchen life!
The Rubbermaid Party Serving Kit comes with 2 super functional inserts. One is for deviled eggs and the other for cupcakes or other types of baked pastries. There’s no internal interlocking device to have to play around to make sure it’s in place. However, the top has 2 locking handles (one on each side), and a super sturdy handle (that folds to stay out of place). The locking side handles keep the tray inserts in place and from bouncing around. I also love that I can just use the container to carry a sheet cake or cookies in, without having to use the inserts. Rubbermaid put a lot of thought into the design when they know people have to travel with food. The Rubbermaid Party Platter is really nice and a perfect size! Most people would do a crudite tray, but I did something a little bit different. I need something to help setup the dessert station I created! Next time, I’m going to create a “Hot Wing Station” for a couple of upcoming football games.
For the Party serving tray, I made these amazing Thanksgiving Deviled Eggs. They are super easy to make and delicious, of course! The the deviled egg tray is a perfect size, as in the depth of the container. Just the right amount of space to hold everything in place, but not too deep where you have to struggle to get the egg out of the individual holders.
For the Party platter, I filled the center removable bowl with some homemade whipped cream and then I spread out a variety of different tarts and cookies into each container section! Honestly, just the perfect amount of space for what I wanted. I need more table space for my caramel apple tart, 2 pumpkin pies, apple crisp pie, almond kringle, pear & mixed berry tart, and my orange “salad” (a.k.a. Ambrosia). What I love even more about the party platter? The clean up. I seriously just put the lid on leftovers and put it in the fridge. Perfect! Out of sight, out of mind.
The Rubbermaid Party Platter and Part serving kit were both a lovely space saver, and also helped keep my food nice and fresh until everyone was ready to dig in.
Now the big question: Do you really need these products? Well, if you want save yourself a little bit of sanity during the Holiday celebrations that you’ll be attending, or making cupcakes to take to school, then yes…you totally need these! They’re definitely budget friendly, and you’ll get multiple uses out of them! Plus, they definitely help make life in the kitchen a little less chaotic and disorganized.
