It can be completely physically overwhelming because you’re giving up so much that you’re body is used to consuming!

Clean Eating Breakfast Ideas Recipes
Cleaning Eating “Pancakes”
Unlike traditional pancakes that have a flour base to them, these don’t! They’re so super easy to make, and you can totally make a nice batch of these to last throughout your crazy work and family life. They’re definitely so much healthier than traditional pancakes, and they’re already slightly sweetened, so you probably won’t even have the need of a pure maple syrup on them. I also love that you can fill the center with fresh fruit and roll it up. Such a delight!
- 2 eggs
- 1 ripe banana
- ¼ teaspoon cinnamon
- In a small bowl, mash banana with a fork. Add in eggs and cinnamon, and then mix well together until all ingredients are blended together.
- Prepare as you would traditional pancakes in a pan over medium heat. I use a non-stick spray to coat the pan with before cooking.
This is one of my personal favorite treats that I LOVE eating in the morning. You get the healthy oils from the avocado, and don’t have to worry about refined sugars being in the bread. I use a flourless sprouted wheat berry bread for my toast that I get from Trader Joe’s. It’s so amazing!
All you do is cut open an avocado and slice it up over a piece of the bread I recommended. It’s so amazing, and super satisfying. What I REALLY love doing is sprinkling some of Trader Joe’s Chili Lime salt on top of the avocado to add some fun flavor to it. For more protein power, you can easily add slices of hardboiled eggs or smoked salmon on it.

Smoothies are a quick and easy breakfast treat to make if you’re in a rush to get out the door to work. Smoothies are one of the many clean eating breakfast ideas to enjoy! You can use non-fat yogurt as your base, and add in fresh berries, baby spinach, flax seeds, peanut butter, cocoa powder, bananas, avocados, agave nectar, and so many more other amazing ingredients to your smoothie. Even though the smoothie may appear to be not-so-healthy, you’ll receive so many important nutrients into your body for the fuel that you’ll need to kick start your day.
