Building Endurance With Bowflex Max Trainer M8

This is a sponsored post. All thoughts of this product are my own.

For the last few months, I’ve been trying to find ways in helping to building endurance for myself. I haven’t been to gym in I don’t even know how long, and I stopped smoking on January 11th of this year. One of the best decisions I could have made for myself!

The downside of not going to the gym in over 11 years, and smoking for over 15 years is that I have zero lung capacity, I tire out fast when I try to exercise, and there are times that I feel like I can’t just make it past a certain physical threshold.

I would literally try to “gasp” for air when just doing minor work around the yard, or laundry, and even walking up a small flight of stairs. It was time for to make life changing decisions, or be stuck in this same frame of mind and never changing anything. This was the time that sticks out in knowing that building endurance would help me get my lung capacity back.

So, I decided to take that first step forward, and put the nicotine sticks down. Now, I had to try to find a way to be able to breathe better AND to try to lose weight. It was a crap year for me with so many people in my life passing away. It started with my mom passing away, and then a couple of months later I received about 76 bags of Oreo cookies from a dear friend of mine. That’s a long story about fabulous deals, Amazon discount codes, a big family, and me eating most of them.

But here I am now. Wanting to change. Making a change. Making changes. Building endurance. Becoming a stronger and healthier person.

Why am I using a Bowflex Max Trainer for Building Endurance?

I’m so glad you asked that! Right now…in my current physical state of being, I’m just not too comfortable with being in front of other people working out, and then I would need someone to babysit Angela for me. I really need something that I can conveniently use from home, and the Bowflex Max Trainer has a lot going on for it.

I love that it has an amazingly convenient Athletic Intelligence (AI) app that I can use on my tablet. Yes, the Bowflex Max Trainer M8 has a pretty nice & legit screen without having to be all fancy shmancy, but that app is really nice and it logs all of my activity.

I am in LOVE with the AI app because it helps to drive goals and see results, and that’s what I really need to see to help encourage me along the way of building endurance, and creating better wholistic health benefits for myself. The app is intuitive, easy to use, and comprehensive in addressing ways to optimize and increase my performance results.

The Max Trainer is Bluetooth enabled, so it’s very easy to find on your tablet to utilize. Once the App is connected, you can then connect it to which user you want to on the Trainer. You can track up to 4 different users on this amazing machine! Which is cool because Stephen is wanting to use it as well. The App is called, Max. Max ACTUALLY speaks to you and coaches you throughout your workout. It also adjusts to your needs to help maximize that calorie burn.

And yes, it even has a heart rate monitor, PLUS you can use a blue tooth enabled heart rate monitor, which I love the convenience of.

The app syncs right to the machine, so you can modify and change whatever you want and your app will record it for you. Need a workout routine? You can do that on the app as well with an amazing premium subscription service, which is totally worth it!

It Has a 14 Minute H.I.I.T. Workout on it

The H.I.I.T. (Hight Intensity Interval Training) aspect is a winner for me. What exactly is H.I.I.T.? It is a training technique to where you give all-out, one hundred percent effort through quick, intense bursts of exercise, followed by short, sometimes active, recovery periods. With the Max Trainer, you’re always active; however, you have a nice slow pace at the recovery time.

To be honest? I did not make it through the 14 minutes on my first 2 tries. It was hellish, and I thought I was dying…at times. But you know what? I made it through the 14 minutes on my 3rd try. I was bound and determined to get through it.

If I could stop smoking, then I can definitely get through 14 minutes. Gasping for breath in a pool of sweat, I did it!

The next thing to do for myself was to make sure that I stayed motivated. I have to keep reminding myself on a daily basis, “Aren’t I worth the 14 minute investment?” I play music while I’m on the machine, and it takes about 6 – 7 songs to get through the work out with a warm up and a cool down included.

I will give a full update and progress report when I check in with you all again.

Everyone has their own definition of what it means to be fit. The Athletic intelligence that comes with the App, will crunch all that data that you give it from working out. It will analyze your peak performance, when you’re drying out of energy, and it becomes your new coach in crushing goals and burning those calories.

This machine makes my fat cells cry, which is a good thing. My body and I are gonna see what happens with this Bowflex Max Trainer M8. So far, I do love it. It will kick you in the butt when you first get started with it, so be forewarned!

Whether you’re just starting out, like my fat ass is, or if you’re looking for ways kick up your training & workout regime, then this is the machine for your. Give it a try. You have a 60 day money back guarantee. A money back guarantee always makes me feel better about a purchase.
