Spring is here, and that can only mean on thing: lots of team sports for school, Easter gatherings with family, Spring break from school, and the need to want to go on picnics. With my huge family, I don’t have a lot of time to devote to making my steadily growing nephews and Angela snacks to eat throughout the day. It’s why I love using Pillsbury Crescents rolls. I can literally fill the center of the crescents with whatever filling I want, wrap up them up, and throw them in the oven. Pillsbury Crescents rolls make my life so much easier to feed these hungry, sometimes hangry, mouths.
You’re Family is Gonna LOVE These Bacon Mozzarella Cheese Bombs
I’m not kidding. The family is gonna love these bacon mozzarella cheese bombs! They’re going to ask you to make them over and over again. And you know what? You’re not gonna mind making them because they take no time to make. The longest part is baking them in the oven. However, once you get them prepped, which takes about 4 minutes, you can just set them to the side and pop them in the oven for when you’re ready to! This way you can worry about spending more time with your family, then having to worry about fixing something for them to eat.

The bacon mozzarella cheese bombs seriously melt in your mouth. Between the flakiness of the crescents rolls to the melted mozzarella cheese and bacon inside, you have a total winner. And you know me, I love a delicious and convenient recipe to make for my huge family. Pillsbury Crescents rolls are a total win-win for me. Not only is the recipe easy, but you can conveniently find the twin pack of these Pillsbury Crescents rolls at your local Walmart. As soon as I got home from my shopping trip at Walmart, I prepped this recipe up for when the boys came home from school. When I made these, Angela and the boys were like a flock of birds just ready to start pecking away at them. I thought I was going to have to pull out my spatula to start smacking their hands! They know the rule, don’t eat them until I can get some photos taken — I digress.
Here’s the recipe, and I hope you enjoy it!
Bacon Mozzarella Cheese Bombs
- 1 twin pack Pillsbury Crescents Rolls
- 8 pieces pre-cooked bacon
- 16 pieces cut mozzarella cheese blocks about 1/2
- Pre-heat oven to 375 degrees.
- Open can of Pillsbury Crescent Rolls, and flatten out of the can.
- Wrap a 1/2 piece of pre-cooked bacon around a piece of mozzarella cheese.
- Place bacon wrapped mozzarella cheese into the center of the biggest end piece of the crescents rolls. Tuck in the ends to secure cheese in place, and then roll up into a tight ball.
- Place on a non-stick baking tray and bake for 10-11 minutes, or a until a beautiful golden brown color.
- Allow to cool before serving.
